The United States has over 300 denominations, church groups and sects, here is a brief summary of some of the particular beliefs of the more popular church groups, as stated from Mead's Handbook of Denominations, from that church's official website, or from other reliable publications.
(We are going to begin with the earliest beliefs and work our way foreword to today).
